Archbishop's Pastoral Visit to SB

Archbishop's Pastoral Visit to SB Archbishop Salvatore Joseph Cordelione celebrated mass at the old Saint Brigid church last Friday, March 21, 2014. Thereafter, he visited the classrooms and was impressed with our second graders asking him questions about Jesus. Nobel Nigusse (Gr. 7) dared ask for his autograph and he got one! This created a buzz in the seventh grade classroom. Ms. Harless mentioned this during lunch with the archbishop ... and voila! Everyone in seventh grade got his autograph.

Our great appreciation to parent volunteers who stayed with the students in the classrooms while the teachers and staff had lunch with the archbishop! Thank you very much. It was an auspicious day!
Kindergarten Class Mission for the Lima Shelter

The Forest of Every Day

The Forest of Every Day The 4th annual family theater night presented by our seventh graders will be on March 7th & 8th in the school auditorium. Come, enjoy and be entertained! Pasta Dinner will feature delicious food from Capp's Corner, Harris' Restaurant, O'Reilly's, Street/Crave Restaurants, and Brioche Bakery, to name a few.

This is a worthwhile event to entertain the family and to support the 7th grade class' fundraising for Graduation activities next year. The drama program is funded by the PTG allowing all soon-to-be 7th graders to have first-hand experience working on presentation skills with a director from the Young Performers' Theater in Fort Mason. Deadline for ticket purchase is on March 5, 2014: Students ($10), Adults ($25). Dinner at 5:30 PM and Play at 7:00 PM.
Great Fun with the Chocolate Fundraiser

Great Fun with the Chocolate Fundraiser The World's Finest chocolate fundraiser pegs the registration fee for 2014-2015 to the same level for the last five years. Enthusiasm filled the air when Tony Spitteri gave the World's Finest chocolate fundraiser rally. Free dress day triggered a scramble for early sales returns. Sixty three students aimed for the limo ride and lunch at In-and-Out and sixteen pushed for the Games2U - an hour mobile arcade in the school yard on March 12, 2014.

We netted $17,125! Two classes earned a pizza party for 100% returns on the deadline. Our eight graders were also treated to a pizza party for 100% participation and support. THANK YOU SB families and friends!
