Admission Process

​Thank you for your interest in Saint Brigid. Saint Brigid is a Transitional Kindergarten – 8th Grade Catholic micro-school providing ages 4 1/2 – 14 with individualized education for students who are gifted & talented, neurodiverse, or on a traditional education path. ​We accept applications all year round at grade level TK – 7th.​

Important Notice! 

​

For the Transitional Kindergarten program, your child must turn five years old between September 2nd and December 2nd of the school year of entry. For Kindergarten, your child must turn five years old by September 1st of the school year of entry. 

​

Any transfer request that occurs in the final trimester of any school year or for transfer into the 8th-grade classroom will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

STEP 1:  Tour

The first step to becoming a Saint Brigid "Blue Angel" Family is to take a tour of our conveniently located Pacific Heights campus.

 

Tours are designed to allow you to get to know Saint Brigid  and ask any questions about the admissions process.

Print Step 2 Checklist

STEP 3:  Assessment or Shadow Days 

​

An invitation to the assessment and/or shadow day will be emailed after the Saint Brigid receives all the required documents listed above as well as the application fee payment. It can take up to two weeks to receive your assessment invitation email after all documents have been received by the school.

STEP 2: Application & Required Forms*

 

  • Saint Brigid online Application, click HERE. (required)

  • Child's Birth Certificate (required)

  • Student Recommendation Form, from your child's current teacher or preschool director (required): click HERE.

  • Two Recent Report Cards, for Transfer Students in grades 1-8 only. (required)

  • $100 Non-Refundable Application Fee, payable online or by check. (required)

  • Student’s ISP or Neuropsychological Evaluation (as applicable)

  • Child's Baptism Certificate (optional)

  • A recent family photograph (optional)

You must complete all the required forms before Saint Brigid can process your application. 

Decision Email

Interested families will be notified by email of Saint Brigid admissions decision 2-4 weeks after completion of the assessment/shadow day and application form.   For transfer students in grades 1st – 7th of the current school year. All decision emails will be sent on a rolling basis as steps 1 – 3 are completed by the applicant.    Waitlisted applicants are students who have been accepted to Saint Brigid but waitlisted due to class size. In the case of a waitlist, your family will be notified when an opening in the classroom becomes available.
