Admission Process

Thank you for your interest in Saint Brigid School and our tradition of academic excellence since 1888. Saint Brigid School is a TK-8th grade program and we do accept applications on a year-round basis as class sizes permit.  To schedule a tour please check out our available tour times HERE or email We look forward to introducing your family to our school! 


For the Transitional Kindergarten program, your child must turn five years old between September 2nd and December 1st. For Kindergarten, your child must turn five years old by September 1st. 


Important note for the 2021-22 school year: Saint Brigid School is offering in-person, on-campus learning for all grades. We are still accepting a limited number of applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Reach out to for more information.

STEP 1:  Tour 

Tours are designed to allow you to get to know Saint Brigid School and ask any questions about the admissions process.  At this time Saint Brigid is only scheduling appointments for individual tours due to COVID-19 safety requirements.  To schedule a tour please click HERE or email us at


STEP 2:   Online Application and Required Forms

  • Child's Baptism Certificate (if applicable)

  • A recent family photograph

  • Student Recommendation Form (from a current teacher or your preschool director): Available Here

  • Two Recent Report Cards (Transfer Students in grades 1-8 only)

For School Year 2022-23 Priority Decisions (Late January 2022) all application documents are due by December 3, 2021.  Assessments will be held in January of 2022.  

For School Year 2022-23 Spring Decisions (Early May 2022) all application documents are due by April 8, 2022.  Assessments will be held in late April of 2022.  

STEP 3:  Assessment or Shadow Days 

An invitation to the assessment and/or shadow day will be emailed shortly after the application deadlines above.  


STEP 4:  Decision Emails

For all applicants, families will be notified by email after completion of the assessment and/or shadow day, review of the applicant's complete file, and space allotment in the classroom.  For Priority Applicants, emails will be sent in late January 2022.  For Spring Applicants, emails will be sent in mid-May 2022.  For transfer students in the current school year, decision emails will be sent on a rolling basis as steps 1 through 3 are completed by the applicant.  


Waitlisted applicants are students who have been accepted to Saint Brigid School but waitlisted due to class size.  In the case of a waitlist, your family will be notified when an opening in the classroom becomes available.
