HOMEWORK POLICY
Homework is given on a regular basis in order to reinforce the skills and lessons learned in class. Students are expected to manage their time in order to complete homework, long term projects, and to make up work missed due to absences. Academic subjects have priority over extra-curricular programs, and students will not be excused from their homework if they participate in these programs.

MOBILE PHONE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE POLICY
Mobile phones or music devices are not to be used anywhere on St. Brigid School premises between the hours of 7:00 AM and dismissal from school or aftercare. Students are not to use mobile or music devices during any extracurricular activity they may be participating in after school hours while on school premises.  If a parent needs to reach their child during school or aftercare hours (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) please call the office at 415-673-4523.

ARCHDIOCESAN POLICY AND RELEASE
Many parents have expressed the desire to use ride-sharing services (e.g., Zum, Uber) to provide rides to and from school for their children. Putting the safety of children first as always, but balancing the modern needs of parents, we utilize the Archdiocesan Alternative transportation, taxis and ride-sharing services policy and release form.

If your child leaves school in an Uber, Lyft, Zum, or other ride-sharing services please print and sign the attached document. All drivers need to pick up children in the school office.

We are not able to release students on Broadway Street or in the schoolyard.

Attached you will find the Archdiocesan Policy and Release form regarding Alternative transportation, taxis, and ride-sharing services.
