Curriculum and Core Academics
At Saint Brigid School we provide a program which encompasses the spiritual, intellectual, social, psychological, and physical levels of development. The curriculum is designed by the Archdioceses of San Francisco Department of Catholic Schools in compliance with California State Board of Education Content Standards. It includes a sequential program of instruction in religion, language arts, mathematics, social studies, health, science, Spanish, technology, music, art, and physical education.

Faculty and staff at Saint Brigid School focus on providing a rigorous, faith-centered education. Children learn under high expectations with clear guidance and support that builds a community of motivated learners.

Students in grades third through eighth at Saint Brigid receive a rigorous Spanish language curriculum and usually advance to second level and honors Spanish classes upon leaving Saint Brigid. With a strong emphasis on music instruction including music theory and notation, we integrate the fine arts into academic curriculum. We have successfully integrated technology in our classrooms to enhance student learning.

Students receive an education that meets their particular needs. Teachers and staff challenge them, while offering the necessary support to create confident, eager learners. Saint Brigid students typically advance to rigorous college-prep high schools in San Francisco, including Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, Stuart Hall High School, Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, University High School, and Lowell High School. We regularly hear from alumni, parents, and faculty that our students are more than prepared to study at top private high schools.
