Currently in the Seventh Grade....


The seventh grade is welcoming seven new students to our class.
We hope that Denise, Liana, Anthony, Kenneth, Michelle, Mina,
and Elizabeth will be very happy at St. Brigid!

I am looking forward to meeting with the parents on Back to
School Night, September 4, at 7 P.M. There are many things to
go over about this year, but also about high school applications.
This is a very important event.




Suggestions and Recommendations:
I have a suggestion for an interesting book for the parents to
share with their children. It is called The Seven Habits of Highly
Effective Teenagers, by Sean Covey. The book is really aimed
at high school students, but I have had many parents of seventh
graders read the short entertaining sections with their children. I
was told by one parent that they led to the best conversations she
and her son ever had.
