Homework / Report Cards / Major Academics / Community Service Requirements / Parent Teacher Conferences / High School Options and Resources CURRICULUM The School curriculum and activities are designed to assist parents in fulfilling their obligation for the Christian formation and education of their children. We strive to provide a program which encompasses spiritual, intellectual, social, psychological, and physical levels of development. The curriculum is designed by the San Francisco Archdiocesan Department of Education in compliance with the state regulations. It includes a sequential program of learning in religion, language, arts, mathematics, social studies, health, science, computer, music, art, and physical education. Spanish is taught in grades three through eight. HOMEWORK Assignments are given to students in order to reinforce skills and lessons learned in class. Homework is given regularly. Students are expected to manage their time in order to complete homework, long term projects, and to make up work missed through absence or lack of effort. Academic subjects have priority over extra-curricular programs, and students will not be excused from their homework when they attend these programs. REPORT CARDS Report cards are distributed at the end of each quarter. Over all, excellence is recognized at the end of the academic year. Quarterly honor-roll students are listed on the bulletin board outside our school office. MAJOR ACADEMICS Religion, Mathematics, Reading, Literature, English, Social Studies, Science, Health, Spanish, Computers and in grades 1-4, Handwriting.
